Our lodge and Self catering log cabins are the real thing - not built with planks but with whole logs from our own forest plantation. Sandile’s Rest is worth a visit just so you can boast that you have spent a night or two in a real log cabin, like those they have in Canada. It’s an experience difficult to describe.
LOG CABINS
All the self catering log cabins overlook the forest.,each cabin has 3 double bedrooms with bathrooms and the bedrooms downstairs have french doors opening onto private decks. The cabins are equipped with all the necessities like clean linen, bedding and cooking utensils. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer, built-in stove, microwave and washing machine. Each cabin has all the goodies you would ever need, including a fireplace (wood included) & DSTV. Just pack your food,drinks and clothes, and Sandile’s Rest will take care of the rest.
TROUT & FOREST LODGE
The Lodge with its cosy pub,lounge and dining room is the place to meet your fellow residents over drinks or while enjoying a tasty home cooked meal.
The Lodge boasts both Double & Luxury log suites, offering a choice of double or twin beds, are complete with full en-suite bathrooms, private decks, bar fridge, DSTV, heater/fireplace, tea and coffee ingredients.
